Hi I’m Jules. If you’re reading this you’ve stumbled upon my page and are maybe confused on all that’s going on, but first let me introduce who I, (Jules duh) am. I’m currently 23 residing with one of my best friends in the beautiful area of Southern California, *drum roll please* Orange County. I moved here when I was 20 with 2 hometown friends and have since stuck. I moved to be near the beach because I don’t think you could ever convince me to permanently move to a place where the ocean is too far out of reach. Will I stay forever? Who knows. I’ve worked in restaurants, or the hospitality industry if you will, since Senior year of high school, and well let me put it to you this way, it payed the bills but made me contemplate doing something to my self where I would no longer have bills. (please forgive me this is a joke). Anyways, at heart I’ve always been a creative imaginative individual who’s ADHD (undiagnosed don’t cancel me) wouldn’t let me decide which avenue would be my best outlet for all these ideas of mine. So instead I stayed at jobs with little to no creative outlet. Make that make sense, I know. Alas, here we are, I’ve launched a website and dove back into my old side hustle photography. I love photography because it reminds me of how lucky I am to have memorable things in my life that may had faded from my memory. Whether that be a photo of my late mother, a photo of a life changing concert, a stunning view or even raw emotion from a complete stranger. I think photography is a tangible way to hold on to memories that would otherwise be forgotten, and we have so much we are blessed to remember. Now for the blog side of this all. Well if you couldn’t tell by now it won’t take you long to figure out I LOVE talking. So I’ve decided to start writing, beccccccaaassseee, you guessed it, it’s a tangible way to get these thoughts of mine out. Neither photography or writing however are isolated to being my only creative outlets for everything going on in this brain of mine, so my little business tab and portfolio will continue to be outlets for just about anything fun I, or we, whip up. So welcome and please feel free to browse my photos of near and dear to my heart people and things, or to read what’s on my mind this week. With love, Jules.
